Entering Non-Rules-Based Events: Meeting, Follow Ups & Reminders

What are General Reminders?

DocketCalendar offers two rule sets that allow you to enter non-rule-based deadlines.

These jurisdictions are called General Reminders and General Reminders 2 and can be found in your subscription manager by selecting “Other” in the state option and scrolling to the bottom of the page.

General Reminders 2
$1/month
  • Two trigger options: Day of Event and Day of Event with Time
  • Creates single events only
  • Ideal for client meetings and reportable events

EXAMPLE:
Creating a day of event for meeting with a client.

Step
Select the case to which you want to associate this event and change the jurisdiction to General Reminders 2.

Select trigger 0 Day of Event with Time.

Then, use the trigger date to select the date of the meeting, time, and appointment length.

In the Trigger Name (Optional) field, type the name of your event so you can identify it later.

Optionally enter any details into the Title, Location, and Description fields.

Click PREVIEW/SELECT EVENTS, then...
click NEXT: EDIT EVENTS to navigate to the edit events screen.

Click the pencil icon next to your event to edit the text. Type in the title of your event and click save.

Finally, click "Add Events to Calendar", to add your new reminder to you calendar.
